HLMS Dress Code Basics...

Under Construction

Building administrators are the final authority when it comes to what is appropriate for student clothing and personal appearance. Violations of the Student Dress Code as interpreted by a school building administrator can lead to disciplinary consequences consistent with the progressive discipline policies adopted by the Bandon School District.

Building administrators shall also have the authority to waive provisions of this dress code for special events (e.g. Prom, Banquets, Homecoming, etc.).

LATEST NEWS:

On May 3 and 4, 55 students from Mrs. Kraynik's 7th grade science classes took a field trip to Charleston. The morning was spent seine-netting fish on the Coos Estuary as part of an ongoing study with South Slough Estuarine Reserve. Students helped pull in the net, measure and identify fish, and return the animals to the bay. We toured the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology before we headed over to the brand new Charleston Marine Life Center where we saw many different animals that live in our ocean and estuaries. >>

Attention TRACK parents! Individual and team pictures will be taken by Cardas Photography on Monday, May 23 at 3:45 at the track. Order forms are available at the office window. Students are under no obligation to purchase photos; however, ALL participants must be in uniform and participate in the team photo on Monday.>>
