New Calendar and Grading Period Adopted
The Bandon School Board approved the 2014-2015 School Calendar. Click on the side link to see the new calendar and note that the District is moving from a six-week grading period to a nine week grading period. This was done to allow more time between report cards. The number of student contact days, conference days, and inservice days remain the same. Parents will receive progress reports no less than every 4 1/2 weeks to keep them informed of their child's progress. If you have any questions, please call us or come in and talk to your building principal.
Inclement Weather and Other Emergencies
If the weather turns bad, possibly making it necessary to cancel or close school, we have a plan. If it is necessary to cancel school, we will post the announcement on our web site. Click on the red "Emergency Closure Information" at the top of the page.
It is also a good idea to update your child's emergency contact information so if we need to close school during the school day, we have someone to notify.
